Here’s the completed Brigade. I went for my universal Dark Brown, Light Brown Drybrush and Bright Green Flock that I use for everything from 40K to Historical.

Let me know if you like or don’t like this set up.

Here’s what I’ve got to do

Austrian Cuirassiers
Austrian Infantry Brigade
Austrian Infantry Brigade
Austrian Infantry Brigade
Grenzer Brigade
Austrian Lancer/Hussar Brigade
Austrian Horse Artillery

I didn't bother trying to base in-between the strips, the ground is going to be dark and the men are so close together that it won't matter. An Artistic man might say they're trying to give the hint of a shadow but I am not that man.I didn't bother trying to base in-between the strips, the ground is going to be dark and the men are so close together that it won't matter. I didn't want to overload the base with Officers, one giving the rear Colonel a Message and the brigade Commander leading the brigade was enough for me. It's starting to take shape, the next step is a light brown drybrush but I do it almost simultaneously with the flocking so I didn't take a picture. It's starting to take shape, the next step is a light brown drybrush but I do it almost simultaneously with the flocking so I didn't take a picture.

Great project really enjoying. Planning on starting a War of 1812 project myself although I’m torn between that and the Zulu war either way it’ll be baccus6mm

If you go for the latter, Little Wars TV did a video tutorial on painting up 6mm zulus.

I know the one you mean thanks for the heads up. That’s exactly the video that got me thinking oow I could put a Zulu war project together. It really is between napoleonic uniforms or cowhide shields in my mind right now, I put a preorder in on the Warlord Epic battle set but had a think and cancelled as want to stay 6mm which I find just so much easier to game and store in the long run. Thanks again ?
