One of my favourite so far, his jumpsuit is Jokero Orange. It was originally Mournhold Brown, but I thought the look came across as too WWII and not enough as Sci-Fi. I need to do some finishing details on the face, but it’s most certainly my weakest area so I’ve been leaving it for last. One of my favourite so far, his jumpsuit is Jokero Orange. The extra rifleman has a Wazdakka Red shirt and Royal Blue (Tamiya) jeans. I wanted to break up the jumpsuits I’ve done previously to add a more dynamic colour scheme. I originally wanted to do him with an alien skin colour, but realized I did not have any I enjoyed. So I went with bleached hair as a modern look. Unfortunately due to the size of the weapon sprue used, the gun is bent at a flexible angle. But I never let perfection get in the way of progress! The extra rifleman has a Wazdakka Red shirt and Royal Blue (Tamiya) jeans. The AT/AA specialist, I used khaki (Tamiya) for the tube, and NATO green (Tamiya) for the shirt. A theme I’ve been enjoying has been the use of RAF Ocean Gray 2 (Tamiya) for all the armour pieces. But then again I love the colour as a whole and have used it in numerous other models (notably my French Courrier du bois and Milice Canadienne from Firelock Games). The AT/AA specialist, I used khaki (Tamiya) for the tube, and NATO green (Tamiya) for the shirt.
