Will be keenly following this project. I bought the box set last year, but one thing and another has meant that I haven’t made any progress on it. I have been reading and researching though.
Thanks for the complimentary message! I intend to have regular updates as I strengthen my existing collection, and add more to it. There is still a LOT unpainted, however much is getting done, especially German’s and scenery that was completely lacking before I took up the ‘Spring Clean Challenge’, and now it’s getting done.
I have just bought a load more scenery and a few more miniatures, and I plan to develop the project further, and the I have started scratch building some wrecked buildings.
@intelligentmistertoad – you were asking me for “consultation” on whether to include flamethrowers with the 100th Jäger Division, and would these be included in the division’s organinc OOB and ToE. I’ve looked into it briefly and found 100th Jäger Division to include these constituent units: Order of battle (1942) Jäger-Regiment 54 Jäger-Regiment 227 verstärktes Infanterie-Regiment 369 (kroatisch) (1) Radfahr-Abteilung 100 Artillerie-Regiment 83 Pionier-Bataillon 100 Panzerjäger-Abteilung 100 Nachrichten-Abteilung 100 Feldersatz-Bataillon 100 Versorgungseinheiten 100 Note the Pionier Bataillon 100 – those are combat engineers, the guys who would be carrying flamethrowers.
