An idea for some quickdraw mechanics is that each player has a 5-card set of a Dead man’s Hand (2 aces, 2 eights and a Joker). Two players face off (ala a western duel) they shuttle the five cards and draw, the highest card wins and gets the drop, if they both draw the same card they draw again. If someone draws the joker then the opponent shot is a kill shot and that character is killed instantly (of not), I have a question mark over that mechanic with the Joker.
Joker should be a miss fire the player who pulls it has shot themselves in the foot when drawing.
Also perhaps on double jokers both duelist get hit or both die.
