Raw umber base coat followed by the orangey Transparent Oxide. These are just cheap craft paints for coverage.

A few coats of transparent oxide later and a bright green craft paint to get the water started.

Baccus basing system paint has been used here heavy to light coats of the base-mid-top layers.

From left to right, first coat to last. The Baccus paint gives a nice dry sandy earth colour I think.
