So 2mm is probably my favourite scale. Well maybe 2nd favourite..No its my  3rd favourite.  Well it’s in the top 3 anyway

All this started a couple of years ago when a man on Facebook called Mark Blackhouse started showing of some hand sculpted 2mm troops for a large base game he was planning called Strength and Honour.

I was intrigued by this but as the thought of scratch building anything sends me in to a dead faint I put the whole thing out of my mind until some companies around the world started making suitable troop types for the game

In the UK we have

www.irregularminiatures.co.uk

https://warbases.co.uk/product-category/figurines/antonine-miniatures/

In Italy

https://korhylminiatures.bigcartel.com/

And in Australia

https://lasercast.bigcartel.com/

Of course if your that way inclined there are also plenty of 3D printer STL’s out there as well

So these are the figures I ordered from warbases

A Roman Legion Inc base

A Barbarian horde Inc base

I think it was about £10 for both of them Inc postage

What's all this then

So I’ve just realised I don’t have any black primer which I think will be the way forward for doing these so will get them glued on to the bases and then head off later to get some primer

Might investigate paint pens as well

I have had my eye on this game as well. I’ve been enjoying the Lardie videos about the game. The movement system got me hooked. It is very similar to ‘To the Strongest’, and peanuts to get into.

I will be following this, and interested to see where you take it.

Do you know where Mark Blackhouse gets the magnetic strips from?
