Got a game into a very busy month!
2500 points per side of second Ed loveliness. First time incorporating psychics into the game.
turned out to be a little too big a game for what we are looking for, took 5 hours for 4 turns! Next time no bigger than 2000 points and a couple less psykers. (I had 6 in this game…..) this all meant we had to track a great deal of stuff. 2nd Ed 40k is a cracking game, but small games! Narrative focus.
Njal stormcaller missed teleporting himself into a bottomless cavern by 1 inch, fought off a demonic assault, forgot 3 out of 4 of his powers then was transported into the warp by a Wraithcannon. 👍
My D canon on anti grav didn’t manage to do much. Sigh. But my Psyker made an Eldritch storm that played merry hell with Bjorn for 2 turns.
in the finish I died aplenty and lost 12 points to space marines to my 10. Good enough game even though it was too much book keeping!
