I think the mini has come out really well @cainanuk. I do prefer using washes myself to give depth to the colours, so don’t be afraid to stick with your usual style of painting and build on your strengths or to see how washes may change this mini presented here. It would be good if you could talk through the paint colours you used and include bigger pictures? Nonetheless… great work! I’d be happy to have Eliza in my display cabinet or to use on the tabletop. 👍👍👍👍👍
Appreciate that mate… I do nt think washes are bad perse, but in this case I was setting myself a challenge to not use them or metallic paints. As I said, this was a skill building exercise.
