So I finished my laser tower and I think it needs sound!

Parts
So for my tower to make noise I need something small. I stumbled across the Adafruit Audio FX Mini Sound Board and with just a few extra parts I should be able to make it go *boom* *pewpew* and *boooosh*. These are the parts that I will be using:
- Adafruit Audio FX Mini Sound Board
- 3-AA Battery Holder
- 8 Mini Push Button Switch
- 270 Pin Breadboard
- Breadboard-Friendly PCB Mount Mini Speaker
Everything is ordered. Now to wait for the parts to arrive.
Jumpcut!
It has been some time and the initial parts have arrived but I somehow screwed that up. It seems to work but no sound will come from the speakers. Even though I added the amplifier. (Adafruit Mono 2.5W Class D Audio Amplifier – PAM8302)
So I ordered new parts and will try again! New parts:
- Adafruit Audio FX Sound Board + 2x2W Amp – WAV/OGG Trigger – 2MB
- Speaker – 3″ – 8 Ohm 1 Watt
- 3-AA Battery Holder, Enclosed with Switch
And a new soldering iron to get it done properly 😉
Hurray, fixed the first parts! (Also, it's finished)
I only had one wire wrong… now I have a spare stereo sound set XD
Behold the pictures of my crappy soldering! But it works. 😉
Now I only need to get the hang of enhancing the Volume of the soundfile. It’s a bit quiet.
And maybe think of something with what I can hide the button *g*
