About the Project

"My name is Tony and I am a wargames butterfly!". I'm sure that many of you could insert your name in that statement and I'm here to tell you that that's ok. In the past I have started various projects, some of them scattered around here, that are usually never finished. I find that over the past six months this has put me off documenting any more in my shame. But now I am starting a new project where I am bringing them all together, a one thread to rule them all! So, this project will encompass all of my craziness. One week I may be working on Burrows and Badgers, the next American Civil War. I now don't mind if I never get anything finished, the main thing is that I am enjoying my hobby and I am not going to stress about it! So, sit back and enjoy the ride with me!

I have been wanting to do a massed battle, historical project for some time now. I am a big fan of the Napoleonic era, however, the thought of all those uniforms,  I know that I don’t stand a chance.

I know very little about the American civil war so I thought that I would give it a go.

I ordered the Perry miniatures Battle set and the Glory hallelujah supplement for Black powder. Unfortunately the Battle set was delayed but I managed to pick up a union box to try them out.

I’ve tried to keep the scheme simple and managed to get all 40 painted,  good start!
