About the Project
This project went from recreating my version of ‘Last Stand at Glazers Creek’ to an Imperial Guard (Astra Militarum) force from the Praetorian Guard of the XXIV that closer represents ‘The Battle of Big Tooth River’. The Imperial Guard force is now complete (part 1), comprising 140+ miniatures that includes infantry, armour, artillery, aircraft and supporting units. Now onto the terrain (Glazers Creek Farmstead) which will be part 2 of this project. Part 3 will be the Orks that I have created a separate project thread for.

Last Stand at Glazers Creek Update 25
Wounded Praetorian guardsman done. I wish GW made wounded/dead miniatures for a variety of races for 40k. I think they look great next to the Company’s Chimera and Doctor. Will likely use them to show in game casualties amongst the Company when I finally play The Last Stand at Glazers Creek.

Glazers Creek Farm hands done. I’ve had these models for years, so was nice to finally get them painted. I used a mix of mainly brown and creams, with a little bit of black and green and then blues and red to tie them in with the Praetorians. Happy with the way they turned out.

Next - old metal House Orlock gang for Necromunda which I’m going to use as the Glazers Creek farm hands. I’ll use either veterans guardsmen or conscript rules from the Imperial Guard codex when I play with them in game.Last Stand at Glazers Creek Update 21
I took a break from painting my Praetorians, but still kept busy with hobby. Including building the last of my sisters of battle army (another project), imperial navy planes for Imperialis Aeronautica, and finally I bought my children some of the new 40k starter sets, so painted these up to hopefully start there warhammer journey.
