It would be nice to win a huge bundle of stuff, but I think spreading the love is better. I know it’s more complicated for BoW to send out to many people instead of one, but please think about it.
I agree, It is always nice to get a big price but it’s nicer that everybody has a change to win something.
Or perhaps split it in historical / fantasy / sf / weird themed bundles …

I do really like the BoW coverage of these gaming events. I know they’re not to everyone’s taste but it’s such good insite into a show that a lot of us don’t get to see that it’s worth it in my book.

We’re here and raring to go…. apart from being a bit exhausted thanks to a last minute painting challenge from 4ground !! I picked up the gauntlet and completed the challenge at about 7am this morning… make sure you go to the 4ground stand to see the Fabled Realms game in action

Interesting Idea to go with one prize over lots of separate prizes. Going to be interesting to see how big of parcel that’s gonna be and the postage cost for it. Side note interested to see what hawk might bring out for this years salute.

A huge prize would be awesome. The chances of winning are really small though. As a game hoarder it would be great to win the prize, but the realist in me thinks spreading that gaming goodness would increase every ones chances to win something.My own included.
I won one of the prizes a few years back, to have a mega bundle would just be amazing.
At my speed for finishing the stuff I’ve got from various kickstarters it probably would be a lifetime supply of hobby goodness … 😉
Travelled down from hull with a car full of big oversized kids eager to spend their pennies on gaming goodness. The usual yearly trip I can’t give up as salute is amazing……
Now if I won a mega prize as well, well I might have to invent a word to express how happy and exited I’d be. It’s like Christmas early to bed in the hotel saving every ounce of energy for walking round the show tomorrow.
Think spread prizes would be nice – but an ‘all in’ one off would be stupid good.
Please remember to give some love to the little guys on your wanders tomorrow – Twilight, Mythos, Relics (Tor Gaming if there). You get the idea.

I would love to win a big giant prize, but spreading the love is always better. It never made sense to be a $500 million lotto winner when you could have 5 x $100 million or 50 x $10 million would make so many more peoples life’s magical!
Would also recommending make the prizes a theme. I am a historical player and prefer those type of minis!

I am also in the more prizes = more winners = more happiness group. I am trying to win stuff at BoW but never have. I love to entertain the thought that I have a 1 in 500 chance, rather than a 1 in 5000.
As much as i’d love the chance to win a huge mega bundle prize of gaming goodies.. I just can’t see me getting through it all in a year (or ten). Think it’d be nicest to share the love out a bit.

Would be nice to win a bundle of goodies, especially as I usually go to salute and unfortunately for the first time in the six years of attending I am unable to go this year. So going to hard for me to watch it all tomorrow.
Wish I was going to be there – so I’ll be checking in regularly to see what is going on.
I’d vote to split the prizes up, only so there is more chance of getting something for me!

I think multiple prizes are nice but one single grand prize will really make someone’s day.
I unfortunately won’t be in England this year so I’ll be missing Salute. I really enjoyed it last year. I probably spent too much money but that was sort of expected. As for the one large maga prize… I think that is a great idea. Good luck to everyone commenting.

That is the most insane sounding prize I’ve seen on BoW yet.
I am so excited for tomorrow, it is my first Salute. Will be looking forwards to seeing everything that is to come out and play some participation games and keep an eye out for Justin and Ben.

First time at Salute this year… so much to see, so little time. Really keen to showcase some of the smaller players – I see most news from the large firms, and can get that anywhere.
Looking forward to the coverage this weekend, cant wait to see what the gripping beast table has in store
the mega bundle sounds awesome but the fact is that many of us on here already have a seriously long-term supply of beloved hobby projects and if we won we’d likely look through the bundle and pick out a small handful of things that excited us and the give away for forget the rest of the bundle.
I can’t help but think that prize support from the manufacturers is to build visibility for their products in the hopes of greater adoption. Given that I want to support as many manufacturers as I can because more choices makes for a healthier hobby, I can’t help but think that Salute should be a time when a ton of lucky BoW subscribers got exposed to offerings from 1 or 2 companies thus maximizing the exposure for all the companies.
One big Salute prize is a great thing. The winner would not stop smiling FOR DAYS 😀 . Things to check out, Gripping Beast and their Swordpoint participation game, WWX, Anvil Industry always has cool stuff, Battlefront, Deepcut Mats, Hawk Wargames, Battlefoam, KR, Privateer, Mantic ( if Ronnie’s there it’s a must ). The list is massive.
Forgot Warlord for some Bolt Action and Konfikt ’47 goodness 🙂 .
As much as a spread is nice, the idea of a mega bundle is pretty tempting.
Maybe we’ll see something new for Bushido. Maybe the Shiho Clan and Minimoto? One can only hope.

Agree with the comment on themed bundles as a good idea, but another thought is to do 2-3 mixed bundles if it is really that big, that way the gamers that win them could share their good fortune with gaming buddies in their local community that play games that they get in the bundle that the winner does not play. That’s what I’d do with anything I won as there is always someone in my community that would love something that I don’t!! Cheers and have fun. I made the last two Salute’s but opted to go to the UK Games Expo this year.

I would really love to see you guys show of some Ground Zero Games. I know it’s an old system but a very interesting take on a “realistic” sci fi game in Stargrunt II and Full Thrust is a classic game 🙂

I think smaller bundles with certain themes would be better, but I really just wanted to see the awesomeness this year for more inspiration. This show is always a nice gear up before I finish my own convention projects.

I think individual prizes. If I won a years supply there would be a number of games I don’t play and those minis could have been won by a real fan of the game. By having individual prizes the people who comment on those individual videos took the time to watch it and really enjoy that content.

I am missing Salute today while sitting in hospital being assessed for a heart transplant! A big bundle would be awesome and I will be watching the live blog with immense jealousy all day!

Although a mega bundle prize sounds awesome, I actually like the idea of a lot of people jammy dancing because they have won some goodies.

Mega bundle prize is an interesting idea. I rarely (can’t remember the last thing but I know there was something) win anything so I am just interested to see what is in there. Of course it would be great and you could share parts of it with your buddies or gaming club. I wonder if it would be possible to just claim the parts you like then have bow donate the remainder to someone ?

The main prize is actually an all expenses paid, romantic weekend for 2 at a B&B in Coleraine with Warren. And all expenses paid means YOU pay the expenses.
Having an occasional BIG prize is good, but how you do it normally is good. Always good to mix it up! 😀

It may spund strange or weird but today I wouldn’t want to be in Salute… just because here in Barcelona is St Jordi day… St.George… the “books and Love” day… A day that every catalan man gifts a rose to their beloved women (in my case, my wife, my mother and my daughter) and everyone gives books to everyone… 🙂

Love the sound of the massive prize bundle. That would keep my gaming group occupied for a while.
Appears to be the all time lottery prize for gamers going on here.
Definitely think sharing the prizes out would be better and its a mistake giving it all to 1 person, I’d imagine whoever wins won’t play all the games involved anyway and some would end up on eBay or stuck in a cupboard.
