I tell you, I must be terrible at picking minis for infinity. Almost all of the troops I would have picked for Ariadna and now the Normads have been absent from the lists posted. I guess I’ll have to stop picking models simply because they look cool!

I have a question for all of you. How do you think tags change the nature of the game? They definitely provide a substantial battlefield threat. How do you build your lists around them? And when playing against tags, how do you deal with them?
vancolt 45… Tags are just a bigger heavier unity they dont realy change the game just how you aproach your enemy. yes their a threat but ONE big threat as aposed to alot of little ones. to build your list around one most people give it support in the way of enginears to fix it and possibly hackers to perform anti-hacks. when playing against them, most armies have plenty of goodies to deal with it .hackers/glueguns. / emp weapons. it is a BIG target and and one your enemy doesnt want to lose as much as you dont want him to use. if all else fails i have taken down tags with massed rifle fire from my line troopers. it hurts but it works . there are good but tags are not all that and a bag of chips.
So excited for this book. To pass the time I use a random text generator. Make it generate texts in foreign languages, then run it through google translate.

This is infinty’s biggest problem, mega-shiney syndrome. So many amazing models in all the factions, it’s pretty difficult to decide what you want to try next. It’s a good problem to have.
My mate wants to start a mainly Corregidor force, but Bukunin seem to be getting all the cool toys.

Unit of engineers breaking open all the doors in a mission sounds awesome.
I found the discussion of MSV L1 becoming more easily accessible to be interesting. More ways to knock out camo troops is probably bad for me overall, since I don’t have a lot of TO Camouflage in my Haqqislam force (and my Djanbazans already give me all the MSV goodness I need).
When I first looked at Infinity way back when it started the nomads were not very interesting but so many of the new options are just so cool they are becoming my third favorite army.
Seems they are added a tag most of the time.
I am now starting to paint my Nomads up to play 🙂

More and more linkable troops, those who shunned the sectorials and the fire teams will have an even harder time now. The engineers are just one of a few options for reaching and operating objectives. I prefer hackers as they offer another boon in the form of potential hacking ARO/ORA in their ZoC.

Like you dais i didnt find the nomads interesting, for me it was more about the models. But now they have gotten so many nice models and if it wasn’t fo the Tohaa just being realest i would get these guys.
@ satuli. Why is it going to be harder? There is still only going to be one link team on the table no matter how many different link team profiles their is. I usually dont play sectorial and i dont find it harder to face someone with a link team then someone without one, there are streangts and weakneses in playing against links you just have to exploit them.
I so like to play nomads. There is nothing like the ability to easily use all those more special toys such as hackers, emp and glue.

I really want to see the stats for the wildcats, or maybe not, I might be tempted to change from my bakunin sectorial. A cool thing to see in next book would ce a Tunguska sectorial, and some more Securitate miniatures.
