Sci-Fi Greeks from Agora Miniatures
April 11, 2011 by beerogre
Agora Miniatures is a project started by Thomas David. His sci-fi resin designs have been inspired by Greek myth, check out what he's come up with.
I'm not so keen on the male figure (Adonis), but that female figure is crying out to be my new Asura for my Infinity ALEPH!
According to the blog, there are only going to be 300 of each made (hmmm... why does that number sound familiar) and they'll be available at Salute. Hopefully, there will be one with my name on it.
What do you think guys?

I’m not a fan of castration, so the male is right out for me… But that lady is indeed amazing !

Don’t mind the make so much myself. looks like the greaves could be a tad longer but it may be just the angle the model was photographed.
Other than the fact that the guy has soe sort of suit whereas the gal appears to be nakee.
Funny how the girls always go to battle wearing not much more than their feminine charm! lol
But is a wonderfully lithesome sculpt.
Looks like a quality company to keep an eye on.
the girl one would have been a must paint…. then i realized her weapon looks like a veined dildo on a staff… Will the final model have a metal staff? or will it be alterable?
Not particularly impressed, I would prefer a mode stylised and functional interpretation of the classical Greek hoplite armour.
And why so many sculls everywhere?
Is this based on a weird porn movie? The woman is okay but the guy is just weird. I do like the spears though.
Gotta agree with everyone else, the adonis model is just 100% weird.
The female figure has potential if you removed the skulls which totally go against the kinda hyper clean scifi style of the rest of the model.
Limited run of 300…that means they will be at a premium price. I’ve no issue with limited run models being more expensive but it does mean that I only buy the ones that I really really like so I don’t think I’ll be picking this up.
