Games Workshop reveals new Combat Forces for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy—plastic entry sets and army boosters for the Grimdark civil war

Games Workshop dropped a whole bunch of previews and more for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. One such preview covered the new Assault Squad clad in MkII Crusade Armour.

With The Horus Heresy book series brought to a close recently, Black Library has been working on its next big multi-novel series. The Scouring is on the horizon and will begin later this year with the first book in the series, Ashes of the Imperium, by Chris Wraight.

Games Workshop revealed all at the end of last week regarding the new edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. A brand new boxed set is on the way alongside tweaked and updated rules for the game, new books and more.

Games Workshop revealed a great duo for fans of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. The mighty Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters, has been transfigured and you can now get an impressive resin miniature from the folks at Forge World soon. 

Games Workshop are also reinforcing the armies of The Horus Heresy this weekend with pre-orders going up for 8mm scale support units helping out Solar Auxilia and Legiones Astartes armies. Use these to help your Loyalists or your Traitors turn the tide and secure victory for The Warmaster or The Emperor. 

Warhammer has released exactly what to expect for the upcoming Boxed Set for Horus Heresy, which will title Age of Darkness.
