Warlord Games are now taking pre-orders for some new releases for those playing as the British Commonwealth and the Soviet Bloc in their Weird World War wargame, Konflikt '47. We start with the automated, clanking infantry coming to help your beleaguered troops on the battlefield.

B for Bertie - British Automated Infantry Hero - Konflikt 47

B for Bertie - British Automated Infantry Hero // Konflikt '47

We start with B for Bertie, a new British Automated Infantry Hero for you to drop in amongst your British Commonwealth troops on the tabletop. It came off the production line like any other automaton but made its name for itself when its formation was ambushed by Axis Heavy Panzermechs. The Axis were eventually forced away but it was thought that Bertie had completely vanished.

However, that was not to be the case. Bertie had dragged itself across the battlefield and rather than simply powering down, it looted the battlefield of other automatons and reassembled itself! Bertie has now set itself up as an iconic figure amongst the British Commonwealth and a great way for you to build an alternative force with a unique hero.

Backing up Bertie, you can also get some more plastic miniatures (B for Bertie is also plastic!) for the Automatons. Your core troops, the Mk I Automated Infantry, are available to fill the ranks of your army.

Mk I Automated Infantry - Konflikt 47

This unit of Automated Infantry can be armed with Medium or Heavy Machine Guns for engaging the enemy with significant firepower. Immune to fear and fatigue, these walking gun platforms are perfect for mowing down terrifying Axis monsters on the tabletop. I think a lot of folks are going to be picking up these "Tinheads" for their British Commonwealth force.

You can also get your hands on the Mk II Heavy Automated Infantry.

These heavier models for the "Tinheads" have a bit more autonomy baked into their design, making them better soldiers on the battlefield. They can be armed with Light Automatic Cannons, Heavy Automatic Cannons and the M21 Light Tesla Cannon that some folks will be familiar with. Heavy-duty warfare needs heavy-duty technology!

Last but not least, you have the British MK IIC Automated Director.

The Automated Directors are based on the Mk II design but with improved computational and radio systems that allow them to direct the efforts of other automated units on the battlefield. This offers up more options for the British Commonwealth that limit human deaths but at the expense of imaginative commanders. They don't tend to enact tactics beyond those pre-programmed into them by their engineers.

Snarling Soviet Ursus!

As well as the Automated Infantry of the British Commonwealth, you can also get some more Ursus for you to use as part of your Soviet Bloc armies. Leading the way is the Ursus Infantry Squad with Mauls, another great plastic set.

Humanity was bonded with the Siberian Brown Bear and the result was this! Monstrous soldiers that have become symbolic of the Soviet Union and the way that they have embraced Rift technology. This squad has had its melee prowess levelled up with the addition of deadly mauls, which can turn even the heaviest enemy armour into twisted metal. These folks could probably put a reasonable hole in a tank!

You can also get your hands on a regular squad of Ursus Infantry. Even without mauls, these snarling, bestial warriors will be able to do some damage.

Whereas the Ursus Infantry above are helpful with taking out armoured targets, the regular Ursus Infantry are there to deal with infantry. Sends these snarling killers charging into the heart of the enemy and there won't be much left! They also look super cool, which is a massive bonus. It's good that all of these infantry are now available in plastic for you to use as part of your growing Konflikt '47 armies!

Are you going to be picking up these Konflikt '47 miniatures?
