Pre-Order Festung Europa & New Miniatures For Konflikt ’47!
February 2, 2026 by brennon
Warlord Games is now taking pre-orders for their first big supplement for the Weird World War wargame, Konflikt '47. Leading the way is Festung Europa + "Operation Touchdown" Miniature at the forefront of a wave of brand new miniatures.
Festung Europa + "Operation Touchdown" Miniature // Konflikt '47
Festung Europa is the first in a series of supplements exploring the background, history and the characters of the Rift War. This particular volume focuses on the European theatre and the British-US Alliance, alongside the Soviet Bloc, trying to wrest control of the Dresden Rift from the Axis.
"Stalemate. Since the opening of the Dresden Rift, new and unspeakable horrors have poured forth from the heart of the newly emergent Neu Republik. The Allied plan to end hostilities in Europe is in tatters. The world now pays the price of its failure. Technological development, already in overdrive in the fever of war, has escalated further due to the power of the Rifts. Weapons of unprecedented destructive capacity are being deployed with increasing frequency by all the belligerent nations, leaving Europe in utter ruin and no one able to gain an upper hand."
As well as the background to the conflict, you'll also find a bunch of game scenarios that will help you play out this bubbling conflict taking place across Europe. You'll also find loads of great artwork and illustrations, plus plenty of photography to get you excited.
This set also comes with the Operation Touchtown special miniature, an alternative sculpt for United States Hero, Roberta Wells. This shows landing in Germany clad in her experimental Firefly armour.
New Konflikt '47 Characters
As well as the version of Roberta Wells available alongside the book, you can also buy her separately.
Roberta Wells - Firefly Hero // Konflikt '47
Wells has dedicated herself to the study of Rift Energy and that means she has come up against all sorts of terrible experiments, including the Axis Rift Horrors. She is considered the best hope that the United States has of assessing what's happening with the Dresden Rift and how to neutralise it. She now flies into the fighting alongside the 109th Airborne Division in her prototype armour.
Set against her, we have the devious and deadly "Der Erntemann" Oberstarzt Albrecht von Zögling.
Oberstarzt Albrecht von Zögling // Konflikt '47
Albrecht von Zögling is the man in charge of the Totenkorps programme, which, as you might have guessed by the introduction of other miniatures later on, is all about the shambling dead. His moniker, Der Erntemann (The Harvestman), was made all the more pertinent after the bombs were dropped on Dresden and he was able to summon the dead back to serve as part of a seemingly unending horde.
Unlike others of his kind, Albrecht von Zögling likes to prowl the battlefield in his terrifying suit, looking for new ways for him to take his experiments. He is known to personally lead his Totenrotte to glory and whilst he might carry medical gear, I don't think I'd trust an injection from the good doctor.
Masked commanders also follow in the wake of Zögling and this is where the Totenrotte Platoon Commander & Bodyguard step in.
Totenrotte Platoon Commander & Bodyguard // Konflikt '47
These are commanders who have been personally vetted by Oberstarzt Albrecht von Zögling. They wear the advanced body armour of the Shocktroopers of the Axis and direct the walking dead into battle like terrifying shepherds. They really give off that awesome Wolfenstein vibe, which is perfect for Konflikt '47.
Shambling Hordes & Clanking Walkers
As well as the characters above, you need a horde! See what you think of the Totenkorps Horde.
Totenkorps Horde // Konflikt '47
Whilst the previous character releases were in Warlord Resin, this set contains a big ol' set of plastic miniatures for representing your zombie horde. Immune to pain and fear, they can swamp the enemy, soaking up their bullets and then descending on them in a shower of corpses! Even when defeated, the Totenkorps can shamble back to life and stumble on, legs and arms missing!
This set comes with a bunch of sprues to make thirty plastic Totenkorps. They wear a mixture of uniforms taken from dead Axis and United States soldiers. You'll also notice undead versions of the US Firefly and Axis Schwertruppen. This is a great set of miniatures for those looking to have a bit of fun!
Last but not least, we have another plastic set for the Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer.
Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer // Konflikt '47
Want to introduce that lovely serum amongst the shambling dead? That's where the Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer comes in. The large, bladelike forearms inject serum directly into the subject's corpses but are equally capable of slicing their way through the living before then turning them into the walking dead.
This also allows you to build the Sd.Kfz.501/4 Infernospinne, which switches out the serum for napalm. When things go wrong, burn it with fire. You are also able to buy this creation as a pack of three, so you can run more of these terrifying machines.
Totenrotte Starter Army
Last but not least, if this really gets your brain ticking over for hobby ideas, you can snag yourself a Totenrotte Starter Army.
Totenrotte Starter Army // Konflikt '47
This set comes with...
- 1x Totenrotte Platoon Commander with Bodyguards (3 Warlord Resin Miniatures)
- 45x plastic Totenkorps miniatures
- 2x Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer (can also be assembled as Sd.Kfz 501/4 Infernospinne)
...bringing together the Warlord Resin miniatures and the plastic miniatures we've just looked at in more detail above. Combine this with the new supplement and you'll be able to have plenty of fun with the Axis!
If you'd like to check out more from the new Konflikt '47 range, make sure to dive into the rest of the pre-orders HERE.

Oberstarzt Albrecht von Zögling – anyone ordered traitor Guards or dark mechanicum? 😉
Can you say “derivative”, boys and girls? @sundancer
That insectoid tank is just awesome – super creepy looking.
Why do the germans always get stuck with zombies? Konflikt 47, Tannhauser, Incursion…
It’s unrealistic as we all know that the mindless zombies are found across the Atlantic in… no… that’s politics… 🙂
@pagan8th to be fair, there are some ‘Merican zombies! Make America Zombie Again! MAZA!
I’ve avoided getting in on this as I have way too much on my plate already. My resistance is starting to crumble big time – every release wears me down just that little bit more. Zombies, spider-leg segway man AND big crab tanks all at the same time – I can’t hold out for much longer…
Looks like they found new ways to make zombies extra creepy.
And I bet Justin is looking forward to unboxing that spider mech 😉
I’m almost interested, mostly because of the mecha-Spider-Man, mecha-Spider-man, does whatever a mecha-Spider-man does … catches allies, just like flies – watch out! Here comes the mecha-Spider-Man!
