Unboxing: Borka, Vengeance of the Rimeshaws – Hordes!
October 29, 2014 by dignity
We're taking a look at one of the new Warlocks from the Exigence book for Hordes. Borka is one big burly Trollblood on an even bigger bear!
What do you guys think of this fellow and have you been looking forward to diving into the new book?

Thanks for the unboxing guys! Borka’s Prime incarnation is one of my favourite Trollblood Warlocks so when I saw artwork for him riding a giant bear I was certainly excited.
You’re right that he is very good at “Anti-cold” and will likely perform well against Warcasters such as Sorscha (prime and epic) who rely on cold for their powerful Feats.
His Feat has a couple more levels of complexity than might be initially evident. The first part grants Stealth to every model in his control range. This includes enemy models. Whilst this might seem like a disadvantage you can use it to pull off some interesting assassinations at range by targeting Warlocks or Warcasters who thought that they were safe hidden behind their own models. The second part may well make the Mountain King (Trollblood Gargantuan) more viable, which is something that we Trollblood players desperately want!
As for the model, the last pieces that you showed are indeed part of his coat/cloak. His prime model has them as well. As for gems on the armour, I doubt that Trolls (and especially Borka) would care for such stuff. It’s a shame that the pose has him leaning so far backwards as he look permanently in danger of falling off! Still, I’ve picked up mine now so will be using him on the table ASAP.
After reading your comment I can see that his feat is very interesting. Never thought about it that way. Anyway great video again. I always love looking at the warmahoard unboxings.
