Time for another What's in the Box! This time Justin, Gav, and Nick have a look at the some if the Tohaa for Infinity.
Now we weren't sure when we were filming if there was a prize for this episode but after we were done we found out that the Tohaa starter force is up for grabs! Get commenting on this post on the Beasts of War website for your chance to win!

The Diplomatic Delegates remind me (loosely) of the newcomers from Alien Nation (specifically the Erotic Dancer)

I am thinking about taking the Tohaa as my first faction for infinity is this a good idea for a beginner?
There is no faction that is bad for a beginner, but Tohaa have some unique rules of their own, which you may not use (or take advantage of) until you are comfortable with the rule system.
Sure Tohaa look pretty but they burn wonderfully when facing a heavy rocket in a linked team.
Love the mini’s. Would love to get a starter set and paint them up

As much as I enjoyed Mercs Week last week, Infinity is the game that has grabbed my attention most.
From the pics I can find, Infinity mini’s are much more detailed and look cool.
I need to spend more time on the Infinity web site to learn more aout the rues and factions, but these To’haa or To-ooer or whatever looked awesome.

Awesome, I love them. The colour is hard for me to judge, is it white or some kind of latte brown?! So many minis so little cash.
My Infinity table is coming together nicely, the smell of burn mdf fills the spare room. Got some Briscards coming in the post that will be an awesome 150point link team skirmish group!
Great minis. One of the best IMO, especially the Spec-op. One question only; this delegate. You can’t use it in your army? I thought it’s some kind of support unit for Tohaa, and now I hear it’s just some kind of token for ViP or civi?

Great episode, I love the Tohaa and CB’s take on such an alien race, yes their model selection is in the same level Aleph was in the previous book and they will get the same rapid growth treatment, I really cannot wait to see their new units.
Infinity does have such beautiful miniatures. Icing that that game is fun too!

Who does not love infinity? I was skeptical about Tohaa at first, but their models are very very well done.
I doubted it will happen, but these guys together with Gao Rael make me want to start Tohaa as my second faction. Can’t wait to get them under my brush!
The only downside to the starter sets is “No Cards” but still the figures are as beautiful as ever.

Awesome to see some more Infinity. Honestly I can’t get enough Infinity. I haven’t been this excited about a games system since I first discovered Rogue trader and the Realms of Chaos books 20 plus years ago.
A lot of the new models really are gorgeous – there’s some misses, sure, but stuff like the Hatail and Gao-Rael really sell the faction for me.

I’m looking to get into Infinity and the Tohaa are on the short list for my first faction.
I’m liking the look of the units, but I’m curious as to how the diplomat could be used in combat, assuming it doesn’t become an objective token.

Sorry to tell you all the bad news. This is an alien race. That diplomat is a man, He has a secret “weapon” so he’s usable in games 😉
I like the entire Tohaa line. That said, the gao rael with spifire is my favorite.

Oh my, when I saw the Tohaa I knew they would be my third faction for Infinity. Sadly I can’t afford all those shinies, so this would be a perfect way to get my hands on them 🙂
Ooh, its a long way for me to go before i can paint the minis so they look so beatiful. But these rly look wonderful, painted and unpainted.
Had a look at the Infinity rules and it looks very good but do i need another system? Well if i won some models the answer is a definite yes.

Despite the fact I don’t play Infinity or even know anyone in my area who does, those models would be nice to just paint
More pretty from Infinity.
As you’d expect from CB the Tohaa are packing a lot of great detail so they will be fun (but fiddly!) to paint.. but boy are the poses are really weird. Perhaps that’s intentional to help sell an “alien” look but apart from the stripper Diplomat, the Gao-Rael and the solid looking Spec Ops, the rest look like someone just spun them round twenty times and took a picture as they tried to stagger away.
So many new toys, glad that I am now starting to branch out into Infinity, a Tohha Starter Force would really set me up.
Justin as far as the new cameras go, they are not too bad, but it was geat that you put the overlays in too.

Never tried Infinity before but maybe its time I should. the models look great
Id o like the look of these , I havent finished my Pano yet, but I was looking to start an aleph force next purely because of Ajax, but whilst no tohaa match that model for greatness, I think the overall quality of the sculpts is more appealing to me than the aleph ones, so will probably be my next infinity project.
I really have to stop coming to this website, I want everything I see. And I haven’t even found the time to play with the stuff I have recently never mind buying more.
Uuh, Tohaa looks so nice. Kinda hard to paint, though. All those bands…

A nice new starter box would be the perfect thing to get my metal addiction going again! Love these Infinity minis and the rules are pretty sharp too!
Still not sure if i like the Tohaa, somehow the are awesome from the dynamic movements but the faces are kind of awkward

Tohaa are a very cool faction. I love that the same sculptor is going to be working on the entire line…the detail is amazing. Now they just need to get more releases!
Really cool models! My daughter is a major manga/anime fan and this game may be one of the only mini games I can get her to play any more… thanks for showing me how it works and this cool faction.
I play Nomads, but I’d love to win these so I can run a competition to win these at the school club I run so that some of my less fortunate students have a chance to play this great game!
Tohaa models are beautifull. I expect it’s due to the fact that they are the most recent faction.
I’m still waiting for the Infinity week lists of winners, they also say “leave your comment and you could win a mistery prize… could be a TAG, or a starter army, but it’s a mistery”. Of course it is, they got lost of comments… but where are the winners?
These minis always look great. I’m so happy I chose infinity as my game of choice.
I love the look of the Tohaa models, especially the Hatail spec op and the poses of the kamael model. Also, the Diplomat model can be used in games as a Diplomat specialist unit, and also as a warcor reporter for the campaigns as well.
With the release of the jump packer and the money I’ve been saving adding up to a reasonable amount, I’ll be getting me some of these guys!

Infinity is the best game out there. Mini’s are some of the nicest sculpted around.

When I first got into Infinity I promised myself that I would not get into more than two factions.
The Tohaa is really pressing that promise.

More Eye-candy from good the folks at corvus Belli. There are not alot of gaming companies out there who constantly whip out products with the same continues quality as the Infinity line Imho.
I think I’m going to have to invest in just about every Tohaa figure that is released… These look spectacular.

Thank You guys so much. I just got my Tohaa starter that I won and its awesome, I apprecaite it so much. I just had gotten the first 2 HC Infinty rule books and have been trying to find someone to play. Have gotten Tohaa starter is going to go a long way at helping me teach some of my friends cause I I’m getting a Nomad starter and with the army list and stats for Tohaa on the Infinty site I’ll be able to jump in head first. I just wanted to say thank you and this seemed like a good place.
