i`m awake at 4:30 in the morning Texas time painting my Conan board game, you guys gave me the bug of painting and i`ve been enjoying myself since yesterday while being constantly interrupted by my 2 years old daughter.. fun stuff.

So…we won’t be seeing a full demo game? I was really hoping to see at least one full game to get a better understanding of all the mechanics, tactics and nuances of play.

A great hobby weekend!!
It is shocking how much they’ve done
How about scenery for the next Hobby Weekend? Each person powers through enough elements to do up a 4’x4′ table in three days. You know you want to clean more sand and tiny little foam bits out of the carpet.
I think this week end was interesting… Might do that with my Club friends in the future, might be on Summer holidays. To motivate ourselves and paint our models, so much armies or game unpainted ! (Well I think, I’m the worst of them. :P)

Yeah thats when Ive enjoyed the hobby the most: Four gamers each getting together with their unique faction and painting it together!!!…You always want one of the other factions as well and being able to see it painted by a buddy is just great!

It’s had a different feel to the usual boot camp weekend, but I would quite happy come along to a hobby weekend just as happily as a boot camp.

It would be interesting to see how this affects Army Painter and Runequest sales. I bet people are already picking up paints based on this and Sunday will probably generate Runequest sales.
