Army Painter RuneWars Hobby Weekend Live Blog – Sunday
The Army Painter Method - A Finished Daqan Force
We see how The Army Painter method looks across an entire force. Here we have the Daqan forces, the Humans, from RuneWars, painted up using simple and effective methods.
As you can see they look great with some basing adding to the overall scheme and they have been tied together well. As you can see there's even a new commander in there leading the way.

They indeed do look great.
The gravel and grass basing really complements the earth tones on the models. And they look right at home on that mat. Excellent work.
Have to get this army paints!
I am impressed at results. Might have give army painter a go on my next 40k army
that is a great looking army, and some lovely basing!
nice paints!!! I love the hobby weekend, I love you 😀
I think this could be my faction.
could you make a video of AP basing gravel?
basing tips pls
That army looks stunning.
Looks realy good with the basing. I might try this with some of my stuff
Like almost all, think the rune golem should more stone than sandstone, but very nice otherwise
This is certainly makes army painter products seem worth a look.
I don’t really use washes at all, so not considered it much before but seeing these kind of results leaves me tempted,
The basing really pulls the overall look together. Great job!
Awesome
Fantastic job
They look great.
I’ve been quetionning myself a lot about basing lately. Altough there are a lot of fast and easy ways to base your miniatures, they will always look out of place on some gaming table. For example,, my miniatures are all based with a desert theme in mind but one of my friend has a swamp table and the other one, a city table… An ork on a desert base looks really weird on the second floor of a ruined building…
That’s some pretty solid work.
I was thinking that the puzzle piece bases would weird, but when they are textured and painted it’s not a distraction at all
Very nice and warm!
Cohesive unifying scheme, gorgeous result!
I like the end result. I will definetely apply the army painter method to my board game minis.
Very nice work .
I love this painting scheme
Some great ones!
Nice simple scheme, but the green and steel look really good together.
Excellent colour and paint job….
Outstanding, Love the green and silver!
A great look and the basing really works.
really impressive work
Oh that does look good, I hope you some basing techniques as well today.
I’m really happy with how these models come out with a good paint job. And with the Army Painter Method, one that most anyone can accomplish.
I really like the color scheme. So beautifully painted.

Army looks great
Lovely work, the paint job is effective complemented by good base work.
I used the army painter dip method when it first came out on some warlord Romans, did a great job TBH.
I really like the color scheme, especially on the golem. Reminds me of The Thing from Fantastic Four.
Nice work, very well done. I like the bases as well, really ties everything together.
Really nice work. Those will look great on the table.
Very nice, especially when considering the amount of time that went into painting the army.
They look awesome.

Those guys look great!
Great stuff there and in only a couple days too
like the face of the commander, great job
Once painted, the whole force looks like it belongs together, and they don’t seem to take that long.
