We sat in on a seminar with Sherwin Matthews, lead writer for Guild Ball as he talked through what's been happening in the world of Guild Ball in Season 3.
The depth of the stories, the relationships tearing each other apart and the twisted betrayals, as struggles for power in the lore of this game is incredibly impressive.

As one who has just started in to into Guild Ball game, where does one find all this history, know it might be obvious to most but I have no idea, but listening to this, I do want to know more about the history mostly the Fishermans Guild as that is what team I’ve chosen.
Check the steamforged website and the rulebooks. It’s said that a ll enclusive backstory e-book will be released sometime. Have to see if they stick with that plan.
OMG 52 minutes of lore! Love it. Cant wait to hear any and everything about the blacksmiths.

I think that Guild Ball needs its own comic, graphic novel or animated series! The fluff seems so very interesting to me and could make for some excellent stories.
So greatt to see this, love the world. Rich Loxam did mention they would like to do an audio book which would be fantastic, cannot wait to find out how Ox keeps his promise to Brisket … I am fairly certain there will be blood

Steam forge are really putting in the love and effort with guild ball.
I like the puzzle of guild bal story and players backround in such creative hands.

I used to think that Guild Ball was rather redundant as long as you could still get and play Blood Bowl, but the focus on characters with a roster that is constantly changing really helps the game stand apart from it’s obvious competitors.
Really nice to see the story getting coverage as well since it is one of my favourite things about the game and steamforged not being afraid of changing and developing the world is a big draw to the game for me.
The amount of love (and death and deceit) that they put into there storyline is amazing!!
