Oh yess! Relicblade is fantastic! I love the style of it, and what makes it even cooler is that Sean is the artist, sculptor and the rules writer! It plays easy, fun, fast and can have a lot of tactical choices!

Proud to have supported Sean since the first wave!

nightmoss

Your coverage is amazing. I keep thinking I’m caught up and, nope, another vlog just gets put up!?! 🙂

lawnor

Good Sir, kindly tell me more of these Battle Pigs that you speak of!

The first Adversaries in Relicblade: http://relicblade.com/shop/relicblade-two-player-battle-set

Wave three being released now adds a Pig Cheiftain in a faction set for $35. And it’s really cool!

falhurk

I would very much recommend picking up the seekers handbook in addition to the two player battle set as it gives you a lot of campaign and progression rules in addition to a lot more scenarios.

falhurk

They are my absolute favorite faction. They play very horde-tactic like, with less available upgrades but what they lack in upgrades they make up for in raw strength and numbers.

sunabe

never heard of them before

fjlilly

That’s why I love events like Adepticon. It introduces you to a lot of new stuff that you may not have access too.

pittpilot

I’m interested now, good job 🙂

jasondeforest

Relicblade is my jam! Super characterful, super easy to learn, yet as already stated, there is plenty of tactical depth. The sculpts keep getting better and better each wave, and are really fun to paint. This is the only miniatures game, I can get the wife to play with me.

jasondeforest

Great coverage Dawn. If you get a chance to talk to Sean again, I’d like to know what he has planned next for the game after wave 3 is delivered.

deltagamegirl22

I will try to ask him 🙂

krowek

When will you be able to buy a game in Europe ??

turbocooler

IMHO, they need a rule set that we can print and play. After getting a hold of the Saga PnP it changed my mind although it was too late ( I know they opened up for BoW fans but I allocated my money to something else). It would be nice to have more game play information. While $35 is not a big buy in, there are so many other games around I would like to read the rules or see a play through to get a better idea.

jasondeforest

On the relicblade website store, there is a free quickstart download… check it out. There is also a digital starter bundle with all the campaign rules and cards for $14.

falhurk

You can get the print and play materials on his website relicblade.com in the shop. They’re quite affordable.

otakugirl

intresting

greaper

Looks nice more pics please

siygess

I love the art style and the cards, and from what I have seen about it on GMG the campaign system with the ‘lite’ base building seems really neat. I will have to pick up the rules some time, though I am a little confused as to which of the cards I would actually need to play.

swbeil

2 hour game low buy in might be a contender.

jmrecoil

So many games, not enough time or funds.

toricova

now this game got my attention

panzertanker64

Very cool minis.

caledor2

Did I hear this correctly, battle pigs?

deltagamegirl22

You did indeed! 😀

khy0te

Neat looking game.

hargarpad

This looks cool 🙂

amachan

Love the look of the miniatures so far, can we get a better look?

ahren78

He had me at Battle Pigs.

somegeezer

This seems to have passed me by, I’m very interested now.

lblunchboxlb

The game looks interesting. Gonna have to find out more about it.

kadmon

Nice models

nukemechanic

I am going to have to give this a second consideration. There are so many cool games. If only I had bigger budget!

falhurk

Best thing is you really don’t need much to play nukemechanic. The core box will give you quite a bit. I’d probably add a couple of expansions, but then you’re good for a full campaign.

falerox

looks great!

falhurk

For anyone interested in relicblade feel free to come by the fan-made (by me) community site relicbladealliance.com we have fan forums and resources for beginners 😀

rayzryr

Sounds like a small, tight game. I am interested, and if it slots in well with a DND style party then so much the better!

tanath

Nice old skool feel to the art and design. Will have to have a look at the rules as I am sure you can proxy your own minis into the game given the generic fantasy races.

comoran

These are nice

zorg

Great figure’s

foofaraw

You can never have enough Fantasy Skirmish battles. Looks cool!

felfeni

Nice minis 🙂

longshotte

I have seen this before but did not pay close enough attention. Low buy in, great figures, and very short duration games with a campaign potential. I will have to look up their website.

paragon

Band of monsters! Sounds awesome. Battle Pigs sound pretty awesome.

baranora

Relic Blade looks fun

harald0skald

These are impressive

georgesealy

I love the style and “one man band” feel of RelicBlade – and playing in a 2×2 space!

trinitty

Awesome game, awesome news

warfield

harigeri

szuhayeva

megsmith
