Project ELITE and Starcadia both look amazing for very different reasons. Starcadia is such an chibi game in space, who wouldn’t like that while Project ELITE I love because of the gameplay mechanics of suddenly your turn has to be completed in a fixed time frame.

Really looking forward to Project Elite. Just discovered the game right before CMON announced they had rights to produce the new edition. Wacky Races may be right up my alley, too! Maybe they can create a “Laff-a-lympics” game, too….

Surprised they didn’t have the Cthulu game at the pre-event, I’ve seen some images of the massive 2 foot ‘miniature’ that they’ve got at Gen Con but it must be on the convention floor. Definitely go check that out guys
Agreed they had a painted and unpainted one on the exhibition stand, if they had been at this event they would have taken up a lot of space.
I´m getting old an inflexible and therefore I´d go for the classic stuff like Zombicide and Ice & Fire. The models for the latter are ever so beautiful. Is there a new twist in the Zombicide game to inject some freshness into it?

It would have been nice if CMON had made sure that everybody got their Rising Sun KS before selling them in stores. There are people still waiting for their copy.

Man the next year is going to be rough for my wallet. So many great looking games. I’m going to get Project elite for sure (been eyeing that one for a long time now). And I’ll probably hop in to starcadia quest if previews are good, since I missed out on the original KS’s of Arcadia quest. Not sure if the extra content in the grizzled is worth buying if you got the original game and expansion, which I just bought this year.

Looking at the Project Elite miniatures many seem to be Studio McVey miniatures originally intended for the Sedition Wars universe before it was cancelled. Good to see these getting a game as they are beautiful minis.
I would love them if they made Xenoshyft miniatures. Its such a fun board game with great art that I want the minis.
