Exciting Announcements From Fantasy Flight's In Flight Report

Every year, Fantasy Flight Games hold their In Flight Report to let us know what they are working on.

This year they had some particularly cool announcements, including a new version of Arkham Horror, an expansion for the Game of Thrones Board Game, loads of exciting new goodies coming to Star Wars and the launch of a truly unique card game; KeyForge!

Ok, I like skipped through this (I’m at work bwahahaha).. but I didn’t see anything concerning Runewars — which sucks, kinda wanted to see if there was a new faction coming out. Did I skip too much? lol. Not caring about an Arkham anything. Market is way to saturated I think with the Cthulhu mythos as it is imho. But, meh. A $200 ship is .. like .. crazy cool that they’re doing it for Armada fans, but that’s alot of $ for a fig that may only be played with a bit.
Maybe I’m just jaded lol.

Yep there was no rune wars but happy days for Star Wars fans!

Oh .. the best thing though was the future of my Wookie force for Legion… woot. I am happy about that. 😀

mc1gamer

I’m most looking forward to their Legion releases

That super star destroyer is $200 US and some dude goes that’s a good price! Madness. That being said so pleased Legion is getting two new factions. Not because i want to play them but it means they are really behind it and pushing for success which is great cos i think i have the next 9 months of stuff on pre-order ><

gryphonheart

Wookies! ’nuff said. 🙂

turak

Can’t go past Wookies.

I guess if they’re losing Netrunner they needed some new lifestyle card game to occupy our minds and wallets. It took me a while to get my head around what they’re saying about the unique decks and whatnot of KeyForge… and I’m still not sure what I think about it. Seems interesting enough to give it a look, though.

Clone wars is back, yeah. looking forward to everything that comes with the big announcement.

toricova

its going to be a good year for Legion fans

Always good to see a company willing to take Q on the floor, shows a confidence in product and willingness to listen to fans, wish there was more on L5Rlcg but knowing the clan packs might be on a quicker release than one after each block is good to know

eddieharr

Great legion stuff!

normandyfan

cool

tmon

No new Runewars. 🙁

I’m curious to see how viable most of those Keyforge random decks will be in any kind of competative setting. I imagine a select few will be Uber forcing people to spend spend spend in order to keep up. Otherwise I’m intrigued at the CCG format evolving.

Boo, Mythos creatures are not Evil, that’s a petty human concept, they’re above all of that, beyond the gates of space and time even

falerox

Lot’s of great news for Legion and other star wars games (I think the executor is cool but the price is a bit much), interesting there was no rune wars.

I find the concept of the unique decks really interesting. I love the fact that they can’t be net-decked and eliminates the stupid card resale issue they touched on in the video… I’m not normally interested in collectable card games so this one might be for me

spacewolflord

It will be exciting to see the Clone Wars Fleets reaches Armada.

goban

Fantasy Flight, just drive a truck round to my gaff, I will eat again 5 years time.

conscriptboris

Same here! Could do with dropping a few kilos anyway 😀
