Those always look so amazing. Hope they are doing well at GenCon this year.
I picked up the Dropzone core set over 18 months ago, and I’ve still yet to play it!!! I know it’s a travesty. Dropzone has beautiful sculpts and I’m really impressed with the detail on such small models. I’ve not even looked at Dropfleet, but it’s very appealing. I’ve got a problem!
Don’t worry, we’ve all got a shiny plastic problem round here! BoW is a self help group to justify us all spending FAR too much on those beautiful sculpts of loveliness. Even if they do end up spending too much time sitting on our piles of shame awaiting playtime and a brush.
Personally I’ve yet to succumb to the lure of Dropzone And Dropfleet but with the new campaign book coming out, may need to reconsider, as they really are very nice looking!
Ha! ^^ Almost the same here. I got to play it at least once or twice, but still haven’t build everything I bought back then. :-/
I’ve had a Dropzone Commander starter set, as well as a few extra Scourge goodies for at least 5 years now and I’ve played a grand total of 1 game. It was fun too!

Droopfleet has always had a pull for me. Couldn’t find stuff for it for awhile but may give it another look as those ships look hella sweet

Great to see dropfleet and dropzone back on track and expanding. Models are looking great and campaign books are good expansions for new players getting into it.
Dropzone is one of the few sci-fi game I really fell in love with.
This is a little bit starcrafty, but looks great
TT combat’s growth has been interesting as they have shifted from terrain to games. I’m curious to see if they keep terrain as a pillar of their business. It’s hard to beat their prices for mdf kits
My favorite faction? The UCM of course!
If I add this Dreadnought to my fleet it will cost me a LOT OF magnets…

Really love the scope and scale of Dropfleet and how they’ve managed to keep the faction identities in the sculpts even on such large ships. Would love an excuse to pick it up – but so many other games on the backlog!

Haven’t had a chance to play either game but I hope to fix that soon! Dropfleet looks great from everything I’ve seen and read.
It’s always nice to see Dave, you can tell he has a deep love of the universe he has created and the miniatures he has made. They are always stunning in their level of detail even on the most mundane of units. I’d love to win the starter sets so I could recruit new players to this awesome universe starting with my roommate and the fellows at my local game store.
Dropfleet has become a favorite for me – lots of depth!

Dropfleet is a stunning looking game, and is great fun to play as well. It would get more table time if we could reduce the length of games. It isn’t the quickest game out there.

Looks wise the UCM has it, but playstyle wise I guess it would have to be Shaltari (which is annoying, for once couldn’t I like the looks & tactics of the same faction, sigh)

I love the models for both of these games but have never been able to get games together in my city. Part of my attempts to breakthrough my hobby slump I’ve been focusing more on just painting models I like the look of, regardless of whether I’ll get to play with them or not… Dropzone and Dropfleet are getting pushed up the list to get now! And that artwork ??
If we are finally taking on earth then I’m betting a new bigger bad is going to tun up very soon.
Dave must keep going to more conventions, so we can keep picking up great freebees.

Althugh I have a Dropzone starter already, I’m always happy with reinforcements. I’d love the Dropfleet starter though!
As most of our listeners know I started as UCM but have been falling in love with The Scourge more and more. Building up the fleet at the moment

I can’t say which faction is a favourite, they all have so much character. I’ll no doubt have to make a choice at some stage though, as this game is pulling me in.
TTCombat makes some really amazing looking games. They are also all easy to pick up and play. I’d love to get these starters

I love the look of the Scourge and PHR Dreadnaught. But I’m still not sold on their use in the current scenarios. It sounds too much like all eggs in one basket to me.
i would love to start dropfleet but cant choose which faction to collect and ive not got the cash or space to do them all!!
Since both Battlefleet Gothic and Firestorm Armada are currently not supported i’m quite keen to try Dropfleet Commander as my new fleet based system.
always the game that I want to play, just never find the right time to buy into this and invest, so glad TTCombat picked this up to allow Dave to build the game and the world, certainly want to get that new book.

I can’t wait for more! I’ve just started playing via a LGS after one of the guys their made a trip to a regional Expo and ran some demos. Turns out we are in the same city so now I can play. And play more!
For all that I’ve bought terrain from TTCombat, I’ve never actually played any of their games. Would love to change that.

This is a game I’ve always wanted to play but have never had friends or groups interested. David just gets you excited for his games, glad to see he is still in the design process and still making appearances.
MAN those ships are beautiful. They are really putting out some great models these days.

I too cannot decide on which Dreadnought I like the best! Scourge and Shaltari are more distinctive shapes to me so its one of them.

I love the dropfleet scourge models I had picked up a while back… and I’ve been looking for an excuse to get my friend into Dropzone Commander while we wait for 2nd edition to take off… the sculpts look great and the terrain they had set up for their games was awesome!
I’ve been resisting Dropfleet for a while. I have a half-painted starter from Dropzone still waiting to be played.

This is a really late comment because this summer flew by. For some reason I always have to like the outsiders so I ended up playing Shaltari. I didn’t know at the time they were the oddballs of the universe rules wise but oh well I loved the alien look. For my second faction I chose Scourge. I play a lot of WWII and modern games as well as mech games so again felt the need to paint alien looking models more different from what I usually do.
I hope we finally get the 2nd ed rules for DZC
