Pendraken Miniatures & Their Tiny Fighting Men + Win A Prize!
Gerry joins Leon from Pendraken at their 10mm laden booth at Salute.
Leon drops some bombs straight out the gate with the 4th edition of Blitzkrieg Commander. This comes along with some excellent customer service from Pendraken who have gone above and beyond. In addition to new Blitzkrieg Commander, Pendraken bring forth their impressive array of 10mm miniatures to the show floor.

What are some of your favourite miniatures from Pendraken?

Mini minis, I probably like the teeny tanks best
Love the idea of using smaller scale minis to do bigger battles. Really couldn’t get on with painting them when I tried though.
Pendraken has great customer service. Every order I have made with them has made it over the ocean really fast. This scale is great for really big games.
I would play Brits in North Africa with Blitzkreig commander 4th ed. Second Ed was a fantastic game and I am looking forward to 4th edition fo sure.
I shall be getting my copy next month
ITS LEON!.. Probably one of the nicest people in the industry. Lovely figures as well
He did know you ?
That’s nice 🙂
Not got into smaller scales yet, but the ability to represent larger battles easier is appealing. ??
Pendraken are amazing company, they are the reason I have a saxon army
Would like to see what changed between 2nd and 4th. 3rd was an interesting edition
Easy, their late Romans, no wait the AWI, no wait…..
pendraken a great company always helpful and a delight to drop by and gossip with
This sounds great!
I’m so impressed by them giving 4th ed books to those who bought 3rd ed great customer service
Pendraken minis for all their small size still have plenty of detail can attest to that with a union civil war army and swedish 30 years war aswell , their modern stuff is good aswell built up a Vietnam force
It has been said already but they are great at customer service. If anyone hasn’t tried 10mm it is definitely the way forward for tiny fighting men.
I play 2nd edition so not getting a free copy, any chance lads?
Love Pendraken’s historical ranges. Their Romans have been calling me for a while!
Top company. Have gazillions of their AWI and Late Romans.
With PFC-CNC closing in June, I will have start looking for another source for my micro armor.
@72draco CinC gave been bought by Legions IV
Pendraken are an excellent company. I bought quite a few of their minis over the years =) Would definitely be interesting to see how Blitzkrieg Commander 4th shapes up.
Jerry’s right that is awesome customer service, wish I could get my money back for some of the new editions I purchased over the years I didn’t like.
Just started collecting pendraken and I am building a 10mm scale Blood and plunder set! So many cheap plastic ship kits out there in roughly the right scale.
The quality is great!
@paperwarrior Hi Are you the same chap that’s been mentioning this on the Pendraken forum?
I think it’s great idea
I am! Thanks!
I think I would be moreinterested in some of their miniatures…
How about a Lets Play of Blitzkrieg Commander?
I’d like to see more
Nice minis.
Could we see a lets play on this
I shall see what is possible 🙂
Wow, that is some good customer services.
I know right?
It’s madness, well above and beyond what is expected
10mm looks great when done, but I have still to paint my test 30YW Swedes up.
That customer service is really something special. Speaking in Blood Red Skies terms, Pendraken has an advantage here, and well deserved it is.
I like my historical stuff and I have an interest in all factions. They are all unique and offer much to delve into.
WW II is my mainstay, so Blitzkrieg might be a treat. For a mass battle game I´d choose 30 years war to be played with Pendraken models. Big bulks of tercios moving around, 10mm is an appropriate size for models, given the limited space I can provide for a gaming board. 15mm is very nice as well, but with 10mm I can field just a little bit more.
Never tried 10’s but could be a great solution for limited space. I think I would the British.
Even tinier dwarves, lol. The minis actually look awesome, imagine 6×4 covered in those!
This was a rule set that I saw played a lot, but fell out of sight. Sorry 3d was such a bad experience and wish all great gaming in 4th. I would very much enjoy a copy to get stuck in to 10mm.
Loads of my friends are moving into smaller scale figures for mass battle games.
Maybe it’s time to look into that myself.
Got to say the world war zero stuff has caught my eye.
you can see why 4ground has partnered with Pendraken when you look at their range
pendragon stuff is great
Wouldn’t mind giving 10mm a go
Can @avernos get me into another scale again.. Probably..
Justin went to take photos afterwards and then bought a dwarf army. “A full army for £30!!” he said.
Maybe he’s finally seen the light? Although there’s no such thing as a full army especially when you say to yourself. “, You know another 50 blokes is only a tenner”
It’s crazy those prices!
That is a very cool looking size of the miniatures…have 6mm and done 15mm so next step must be inbetween!
Haven’t played BKC since 2nd, always good (Played CWC and FWC more). Did play German, would probably do so again (though this time either Eastern Front or DAK – have a liking for 10th Panzer – though not due to the inclusion of the 501 Tank Regiment, Tigers at that time are just rude, if you can get them to work).
Great to see a company show that level of loyalty to their customers and guys who play their games. North Irish Horse in North Africa would be my choice of army.
lovely minis
great models.
Have 1st edition of BKC and loved it. Can’t wait to upgrade to 4th edition!
the models seem really nice.
I meant to add that the Pendraken forum is still one of the best I am a member of. Even after 10 years it’s still very active and lots of great discussions. If anyone is interested in BKC I would recommend joining
I would play Dwarves 😉
Amazing news
Nice one Pendraken for sorting out their issues so graciously.
It nice to see a local war games company doing so well. See as this
Company is a five minute drive from me. Plus was looking at starting a new game system to start and I love my historical games.
I love 10mm scale. It’s my second favorite just after 28mm.
The minis looked beautiful
I love a good Blitzkrieg!
must have a look at their Crusade mini’s NOOOOOOO, @avernos see what you have done Gerry!!!!
fuck all to do with me son, I wasn’t even there!
Be worth waiting for them to re release the old TB range for some nice crusade type figures
Or wait for these to go on general release https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1399797098/13th-century-10mm-baronial-wars-english-army-minia?ref=card
@buggeroff I am told the TB range of Teutonic Knights and Eastern European Knights will be released shortly
I havn’t tried Pendrakan before but those dwarves look like they’d make a nice addition to my warmaster army
The new Pendraken fantasy is bigger than the old Warmaster ranges
argh okay thats a shame but i’m sure I could find an excuse to buy them anyway 😉
They are close enough when ranked up but I wouldn’t mix them on the same base
I’d play Poles in Blitzkrieg Commander. Lots of tiny TKS tankettes all over the place!
I am a big fan of 10mm scale, just looks impressive on the table in my opinion.
looks very cool.
Hadn’t come across these guys in the past until the new 4Ground project. They really do have some lovely models
Guns and drums looks awesome and the minis really sold me on the idea of 10mm gaming.
Looks so good
I have to say World War Zero has piqued my interest. I really like the idea that you can have large scale battles without hours and hours of painting due to the scale. I did not realize the range of products that these guys carried.
