Warren has got his tanks built and that means it’s time to give them some colour too.
Having “borrowed” Justin’s pizza box, Warren and some of the others have chipped in for a primer to get the proper colour for his German machines of war.
Do it,do it,do it….Watching @warzan hobby is definitely inspirational.If the weather holds,i’ve some terrain for my flgc that needs a little work,a couple of colours and a wash,followed by an anti-shine spray should do wonders.
Awww man. Now I want a pizza, and I’ve already had a pizza a few hours ago.
I’m wondering if the new GW Contrast will work on tanks this small. I’ve seen experiments with 28mm tanks and they don’t work there. It’s be interesting to see.
Reports so far are that they do not work well of vehicles or models with flat areas.
Always used pizza boxes to spray miniatures, moved on to old boards of wood these days.
Managed to prime my new Hind helicopter between showers 🙂
??? Just need to get me a slice or two.

color primer and army painter tone would be good enough in a pinch :).

good to see @warzan has his mojo back when it comes to painting…. though I thought it was funny when Justin was telling him off probably just like most dads when they introduce the kids into painting and spraying for the first time lol

It’s been ages since I primed with a can – I’ve got used to being able to prime indoors with My air brush.
I do however still like eating pizza 🙂

I was told by a GW employee that these sprays arent primers, and require a primer underneath. Is that true?

I prime in the same way: bottom first, top second, too little patience to let them dry properly between those two stages 🙂
