Really impressive scenery
The grassy fields looked amazing. I was trying to get shots showing the “3D” elements of the table, especially those two Jadgpanthers lurking in wait under those trees … all without knocking the terrain over of course!
I got all excited when I saw the track, but no train 🙁
Some lovely scenery on show.
There was a train on the Bolt Action Z table, I think photos are going up tomorrow. 😀
I like the tags used to identify soldiers/units.
Those were great. The German force included a Schultz, Klink, and Fegelein. I want to get in on this game just so I can pound on the table.

Beautiful terrain!
Just in terms of straight-out terrain, this was probably my favorite of the day. I want to try to get back to this table when the game is in progress and maybe get an interview.
Those are great markers and another spectacular table.

That´s very nice. I read Beevor´s “Arnhem” book and the pictures catch something of the atmosphere that ransferred from the book.
Most of my soldiers have names, too. It was quite a lot of fun to make up all those Japanese names. And I´m looking forward to my Russians, 30% of which will probably end up as Ivan thingy-nov/lov or something.
One trick I do for things like that is go to Wikipedia and look up a list. Like: “List of Russian Poets” or some such. This way I get an instant list of “realistic” surnames for a given country or culture, but not obvious military history names that wargamers would instantly recognize.
“Hmm, I like your named force. They’re all Zhukov or Koniev or Rokossovsky or Vatutin or Katukov …”

@zorg , @coachjose59 , @longshotte – indeed these tables looked great, this one especially. The long-draw, low-angle shots really bring out the effect of that grass, for example.

The system was “Nuts!” I can’t remember the scale, but it was BIG.
I misread that at first, but oh yeah I’ve seen that one! 🙂
