The Outpost (UK) have purple basing sand.

And there’s traditional flock on eBay.

Another method might be base with sand or model railway ballast and use exactly the shade of purple you want.

all the colours of the rainbow, lots of hobby brands buy from suppliers like these, the 100g bags for £5 are a bargain, depending where you are in the world a google for “dashboard flocking supplies” yields good results
