Been quiet for a while, but I am back. I have been painting all the primordials of the expansion. Here are the pictures and paint recipes for Dahaka and Demidjinn.

Demidjinn
This one was pretty easy. The miniature doesnt have a lot of elements to paint. Combined with the fact that I already had paint recipes for some of the elements painting this miniature didnt take a lot of time. However, getting the desert base right took some time, but I got there in the end.

Base
• Base: VAL Desert Yellow
• Wash: GW Agrax Earthshade + GW Seraphim Sepia + water (2/4/3)
• Drybrush: VAL Desert Yellow
• Drybrush: GW Wraithbone
• Pinpoint drybrush: AK Sand Yellow
• Pinpoint wash (on rocky areas): GW Agrax Earthshade + water (1/2)

Skin
• Base: GW Abaddon Black
• Drybrush: AK Grey Brown + AK Warm Grey (50/50)
• Drybrush: AK Silver Grey + AK Warm Grey (50/50)
• Drybrush: GW Mechanicus Standard Grey + black (50/50)

Metal
• Base: GW Iron Warriors + black (50/50)
• Wash: GW Nuln Oil
• Drybrush: GW Iron Warriors + GW Leadbelcher (50/50)

Gold
• Base: GW Retributor Armor
• Drybrush: GW Skullcrusher Brass
• Wash: GW Seraphim Sepia

Weapon
• Base: AK Gun Metal
• Base: GW Leadbelcher
• Base: GW Iron Warriors
• Wash: GW Nuln Oil
• Straps: AK Grim Brown (base) + GW Gorthor Brown (drybrush)

Dahaka
This miniature was even easier to paint than the previous one. However, the problem with this miniature is that it is some kind of ghostly creature portrayed without a lot of color. The danger painting this miniature was that it would become boring as there wasnt a lot of color or variation in color. It is a mostly black creature with different shades of green. So I had to think about this one a bit and push the greens as much as I could while also staying true to the art of this miniature. I have posted a picture of the art so you can see how it turned out. Really happy with this one and it didnt take a lot of time either.
