(Still) Fighting Black Dogs
Paint Scheme
Although they’ll never be on the table at the same time, I very much see this is box as an extension of the original Black Dogs of Khaz Modan the paint scheme matches that as best I can.
- Prime grey
- Paint most of the model with Army Painter Gun Metal
- Hands get Citadel Kislev Flesh (the faces don’t show up at this scale once you do the wash over the helmet)
- Boots and belts got Vallejo Chocolate Brown (the puddle bases are also painted with this)
- Shields, shirt cuffs and the tiny slip of material sticking out the bottom of the chainmail were Citadel Mephiston Red
- The beards; just grabbed a bunch of hair colours
- Some black on the shields just to mask a little the stretching on the sculpts
- All over wash with Citadel Agrax Earthshade
- Shield bosses get a dot of Citadel Retributor Gold
