New Heroes & Villains For Warhammer 40,000 Armies
November 14, 2025 by brennon
There was so much in the Warhammer Preview last week that there's even more to share with you. We got to see a few more heroes (and villains) popping up for those playing Warhammer 40,000 and for once, they weren't Space Marines!
Berehk Stornbrow // Warhammer 40,000
For the Space Dwarfs of the Leagues of Votann, we had the mighty Cthonian Berserker, Berehk Stornbrow. He has a particular hatred of the Orks that rivals most of his kin and so makes it a point to head out and crack as many of their skulls as possible.
With a craggy-skinned cloneskien that gives you added durability and a bunch of augmentations, he is the match for plenty that the Orks might throw at him. He has earned the title of "The Waaaghbreaker" for his decimation of many an Ork invasion alongside that of a powerful Freeboota Kaptin.
I think he looks great but it still does nothing to convince me of the aesthetic of the Leagues of Votann when the Ironhead Squats exist for Necromunda.
New T'au Characters
The Greater Good might have lost out on the full support of Farsight but others have risen in his place and importantly, they are Ethereal approved, so all the paperwork is properly signed off.
The Twin Lances // Warhammer 40,000
The Twin Lances are a pair of warriors known as Sunsear and Scatterflare who made a name for themselves when they flew into a fury at the loss of their commander, Darkflame. This aggression has been channelled into an up close and personal style of combat and hit-and-run tactics.
They wear advanced Warmaker Battlesuits and their wargear is top of the range, with the likes of the neocapacitor shields and weapons like the ion scattercannon. Extreme firepower and extreme prejudice are the name of the game here.
I think both of these look excellent and very much in keeping with the Gundam-ification of the T'au, even more so in the wake of the rise of the IP within the hobby industry. It's good to see more Battlesuit styles that step out of the shadow of the older sculpts.
New Tyranid Miniature
Last but not least, we have another Tyranid Prime for the ever-growing swam seething through the galaxy of Warhammer 40,000.
Tyranid Prime with Lash Whip // Warhammer 40,000
Alas, we've no named character for the Tyranids but the Primes take all sorts of shapes and sizes. The Winged variant that was part of the Leviathan set take to the skies but you might also want one lashing your foot troops into the midst of the fighting.
The Lash Whip of the Tyranid Prime can snag foes and drag them closer to the sharp claws of the bearer, or simply rend the flesh from your bones. Again, a nice miniature for the Tyranids and a good addition to the range.
I would imagine that these miniatures will be coming out next year alongside the unfolding 500 Worlds campaign, so keep an eye out for more.
What do you think?

The Tyranid Prime doesn’t look too bad or too flimsy but why the flock do they ALL need “foot-on-rock”? Or in Berehk Stornbrows case feet-on-rock. Not my cup of tea.
that’s how you know they are ‘heroes’ and not ordinary targets …
this is precisely the reason i still have a pet rock…so you all know i am a hero

Lovely stuff
