December 9, 2025 by brennon
[Updated] Wargames Atlantic has now released their new 10mm plastic kits for your Medieval wargames. Azincourt is the focus and they have boxed sets covering the English and the French as they clashed on that muddy, bloody battlefield.
10mm Azincourt English Army // Wargames Atlantic
There are four unique frames that Wargames Atlantic has been working on. To start with, you have the English Longbowmen (with bows and melee weapons) and the English Foot Knights alongside their Men At Arms.

There are some seriously nice miniatures in this set and in a variety of poses. Here's a look at the full contents of this box...
- 246 English Knights/Men-at-Arms on Foot
- 462 Longbowmen (armed with both bows and melee weapons)
- 105 Stakes
- Casualty figures for every troop type
We're getting a similar set-up to the sprues as we've had with previous 10mm releases by Wargames Atlantic. In fact, here are some of the sprues which will give you a good idea of numbers and design.

10mm Genoese Crossbowmen Sprue // Wargames Atlantic
This (above) is a mixture of both the English and the French sprues, so you can see what's involved with both armies.
10mm Azincourt French
You can't do Azincourt without the addition of the French.

On the French side of things, you have the French Mounted and Foot Knights alongside a set of Genoese Crossbowmen.

The miniatures look lovely and should be very quick and easy to paint, at least until you get to those fluttering banners. I like that for the majority of these miniatures, you could get away with a drybrush and then simply picking out some colours with a Speed or Contrast paint.
Covering that ill-fated cavalry charge, you also have the colourful Genoese Crossbowmen with their big shields.

Here are the contents of the French Army set...
- 351 French Knights/Men-at-Arms on Foot
- 108 French Knights/Men-at-Arms Mounted
- 246 Genoese Crossbowmen
- Casualty figures for every troop type, including 18 horse casualties
Both of the army boxes from Wargames Atlantic come with over 700 figures each, allowing you to play this mighty battle outside Azincourt. Of course, if you buy these boxes in larger quantities, you could go well beyond Azincourt and play out different battles from the Medieval period.
What do you make of this 10mm Medieval preview?

Oh, nice looking tiny tiny men.
Super tempting set … the right scale to do something so massive.
Great ! I think this is the ideal scale to play with a massive effect.
They look rather nice.
I like the idea in general and everyone expects the Genoese crossbowmen I suppose, even though they were more famous not for “covering” the French cavalry charge at Crécy but carpeting it – the French running over their retreating allies on their way toward the English.
