Snatch Up Witches & Wanderers From Black Crab’s Kickstarter

Andrew May of Meridian Miniatures has come back to Kickstarter with another campaign for Black Crab Miniatures. Meet Witches, Wanderers and False Prophets for use in your 28mm Fantasy wargames.

Witches, Wanderers & False Prophets // Black Crab Miniatures

After working so hard on all of the quirky Homunculi in previous Black Crab Miniatures campaigns, Andrew May has now started work on all of the Alchemists, Witches, Warlocks, Necromancers and weird Wanderers that might call on them or use them as their familiars.

Witch // Black Crab Miniatures

This campaign features a new set of ten sculpts from Andrew May (some of which are pictured here), hand-sculpted and produced in resin. All of them are absolutely brimming with character and should give you a great chance to pick up some unique characters for you to use in your skirmish games.

Wanderer // Black Crab Miniatures

Within the lore of the Black Crab universe, these characters could be the ones who are responsible for all of the ills that have befallen villages out in the middle of the wilderness. Have they been disturbing graveyards and raising the dead, or perhaps luring children into the forest with the promise of sweets?

Necromancer // Black Crab Miniatures

All the miniatures are perfectly quirky and packed with horrifying character, which is just what you want from villains in your campaigns! I particularly like the Necromancer above, floating forward above the sodden ground as the undead write and shudder beneath him.

False Prophet // Black Crab Miniatures

If you're looking to get your hands on some alternative miniatures for the likes of Frostgrave, these could be excellent for adding a grimdark touch to proceedings. I think these would also be perfect for Forbidden Psalm and MORK BORG as player characters!

Alchemist // Black Crab Miniatures

The campaign will give you the chance to pick up all ten of the Witches, Wanderers & False Prophets but you can also get the Hell Demon mini diorama, which is still in the process of being finalised and loads of the other miniatures from the expanded Black Crab collection.

Another brilliant set of miniatures from Andrew May that should tick the boxes of a lot of Grimdark Fantasy fans.
