Monstrous Spire Beasts & New Lore Campaign For Conquest!
December 17, 2025 by brennon
Para Bellum Games aren't slowing down when it comes to their new 35mm scale miniatures for their Fantasy wargame, Conquest. Some towering new monsters are on the way for the Spires alongside a new character and a Lore Campaign Pack for fans of narrative, campaign-based wargaming.
Consumption Beast // Conquest
We start with the Consumption Beast for the Spires. The Consumption Beasts once drained the spawning vats but were then deployed on the battlefield due to the carnage that they can unleash. The impact that the Consumption Beast has on the foe by not simply killing but then eating the dead pushes the enemy over the edge.
In-game, the Consumption Beast crushes and then consumes its enemies, fueling regenerative properties that drive it deeper into the fighting. This kit also allows you to make the Desolation Beast.
Desolation Beast // Conquest
Dissolve flesh and bone with the terrifying weapons of the Desolation Beast. Much like the Consumption Beast, the Desolation Beast is used to scour and cleanse, in its own unique way. The alchemical bile that the Desolation Beast emits can melt its way through armour and flesh in a terrifying bombardment that will render the enemy into liquid pools of horror. Glorious.
Watching The Terror
Watching over the absolute carnage that the above creations can cause is a new character for the Spires in the form of the Merchant Prince.
Merchant Prince // Conquest
The Merchant Princes have earned their wealth through trading and meddling in the affairs of the mortals of Ea. They are ruthless and whilst they lack physical prowess, they are enhanced with Biomantic skills. Guile and intrigue can be used to influence enemy forces and deceive them. Should that not be enough, the Merchant Prince can then call in a bombardment from above by an airship hidden in the clouds.
New Lore Campaign Pack - Yoroni vs W’adrhŭn
If you're diving into the narrative side of Conquest, then you can also pick up a brand new Lore Campaign Pack, which sees the Yoroni going up against the W’adrhŭn.
The Vale of Tears - Lore Campaign // Conquest
This set comes with miniatures for Murakame Wako and Nangenyua, awesome new characters to lead the way for both the Yoroni and the W’adrhŭn in your battles. Here's some of the background for this new campaign...
"Deep within the Wastlands stand the Oases, bright spots of life and life-giving water in the otherwise blasted landscape that dominates these tormented lands. At the heart of one of these Oases lies a broken spire, brought low by the fire and fury of the Dweghom. While the fury might be spent, the fire still rages within its broken shell and from within this raging confluence of the elements steps the Suzerain of a Hundred Hateful Tides, Oyabun of the Yoroni, to stake his claim deep in the heartlands of the W’adrhŭn territory. With the Ukunfazane distracted by the nascent revolt among the Cults, it falls to Nangenyua, the Shadow Who Walks, to prevent this culturally and strategically significant W’adrhun territory from being pulled into the ghostly realm of the Reikai forever."
This set comes with your campaign booklet, which will lead you through this narrative experience set within the world of Ea. You will also get all of the gubbins that you need for running these characters in your games. Some brilliant new characters that show unique interpretations of the Yoroni and the W’adrhŭn on the battlefield.
Will you be picking up The Vale of Tears or perhaps those Spires monsters?

I usually like the Spires minis, but various anatomical choices on the large beast kit go beyond the suspension of disbelief for me.
The Merchant, though, is fantastic. Very otherworldly, especially with the pet.
The Spires beast feels like some of the practical effects from “In the Mouth of Madness” and “The Thing” with a touch of the aliens from “Independence Day”. Creepy but still not full bore body horror. Neat stuff
Big mouth strikes again!
