Battle Alien Invaders! Time Travel Wargaming With 7TV #OTTWeekender
January 16, 2026 by crew
It's OTTWeekender time! In this week's episode, we get excited about some excellent new Sci-Fi soldiers that would be perfect for your time-travelling games that might feature a certain Doctor! Who? We couldn't possibly say.
As well as delving into the world of Doctor Who, we also discuss how these new miniatures might be great for all sorts of fun, Pulpy action on the tabletop. Maybe use them as allies or villains in James Bond-inspired games or as classic "Army Men".
As always, dive into the comments and tell us all your thoughts about the show this week and what we chat about!

Yess … they’re back
Is it too far into January to say Happy New Year? Happy Weekend then!
I was a wee bit worried
I’m wondering if taking a break from wargaming would be a good idea… as the real world seems to be a bit… less like a game.
Huzzah!
Weekends are now back to normal. Just feels wrong not having a weekender and expecially an xlbs
Weekenders restored fantastic news
Yay back in the room🎉🎉
Yay Greek fire ships
I wonder if Peachy already has the new Harper model. Didn’t they do model of Peachy as well?
If Spectre ever go looking for an IP to work with, I think they’d be a great match for Stargate SG-1
