Pillage Victrix Miniatures’ New Medieval Farm Animals Set
April 3, 2026 by brennon
If you're looking to pillage your way through the Early Medieval period, then you can now get your hands on the Medieval Farm Animals set from Victrix, which is going to be helpful for making a living, breathing world on the tabletop.
Farm Animals // Victrix Miniatures
This range of plastic farm animals is going to be great for those defenders who are looking to keep an eye on their livestock. It will be equally good for raiders who have travelled far and are now looking for an easy meal from the local farmers. You can use them in your games of Pillage for scenarios, objectives or just as set dressing for a tabletop.
Cows // Victrix Miniatures
The team at Victrix has done plenty of research on the farm animals that would have been present during the Early Medieval period. They would have been very different from the animals that we know now, all of which have been tampered with and bred to produce more meat and milk.
Donkey // Victrix Miniatures
This collection of plastic miniatures offers you 104 sculpts which will give you pretty much all of the farm animals you'd ever need for your games...
- 16 Sheep
- 8 Goats
- 4 Donkeys
- 4 Horses
- 4 Calves
- 8 Cows
- 20 Chickens
- 24 Geese
- 4 Piglets
- 4 Sows
- 4 Pigs
- 4 Lambs
You can find out more about the research that Victrix put into the project by checking out the plastic set over on their website. I think these look great and it's nice that they're not all static. They have movement to their poses, which makes them feel a lot more realistic.
Chicken & Geese // Victrix Miniatures
This joins a great selection of new plastic kits for Pillage. You can sink your teeth into loads of scatter terrain, warbands and now farm animals! Everything you need for a Viking raid on the coast of England during the Early Medieval period.

the more (or rather, fewer) games I get to play as time rolls on, the more I enjoy the spectacle of the game. boring grey minis and mdf terrain can get in the bin.
set dressing is also a big yes for me, it adds so much visual busyness in all the right ways
Need to read the pillage rules, always great to see set dressing. The models look amazing, but they will never beat warlords farm animals product code
Those look great for other eras as well. I will definitely pick them up at some point.
