nice, if the plastic is to thin for a magnet put that in the inner plastic part then you only need a small piece of metal cut of squares from a washer for the thin section to catch the magnet?

Also judging from the usual Total War pattern there will probably be about 12-18 months to wait now before the game is released, so plenty of time for the game to be polished up.

Oh…and Warmachine has a whole mercenary faction dedicated to privateers. Sea dogs (grunts), cannons, press-gangers, and a ton of pirate personalities in that range.
Check out Privateer Press’ gallery under Mercenaries to see what I’m talking about.
The Cryx faction also has undead pirates that could be nice for a ghost ship.

CMoN recently did a KS for Rum & Bones, most of their pirate miniatures would fit into that theme.

There have been a number of prepainted pirate miniatures from the D&D and Pathfinder minis sets. The Skull and Shackles minis expansion for Pathfinder in particular has a lot of pirate-esque minis. I’m not aware of any company having the PotC license, but I have quite a lot of very nice pirate minis from a company called Black Scorpion. They do undead pirates as well which may fit the theme.
