Be The Best Outlaws In Sons Of Anarchy Board Game!

I must admit that when I heard about the Sons of Anarchy: Men of Mayhem Board Game I didn't have much of a clue about what it was but after checking out the Gale Force Nine website I'm now very much intrigued. Cash, guns, fighting and more sounds awesome as well as the ever present backstab waiting in the wings. This is my kind of board game!
The game looks like a mix of intrigue and board control where you choose which territory you're going to fight for. I do like this kind of sneaky backstabbing game where there is a lot of player interaction and with the success of this kind of thing in Spartacus I can see it fitting in well with the Sons of Anarchy theme.
When you take a look at the teaser above you can also see some rather awesome looking plastic components which I hope are as nifty in reality as they look in the render!

I may well end up getting this, more so because of the theme than anything else. I’m a sucker for nice looking games with great components and when that meets one of my favourite TV series its pretty much a must buy.
I’m booked in to play this at GenCon. I shall report back with my impressions.
Looks good, and I think my sister will love this as she is a huge fan of SOA. For me, I’d have preferred a Charlie Hunnam Pacific Rim / SOA mash up game where you take on Kaiju with your motorcycle gang!
i seriously hope there is a Gemma card/component, that just gets in the way of plans and causes hell!

Looks quite a good one, may have to get this as a present for those I know are big fans.
I’m prettymuch sold. SOA is awesome and GF9 have already produced two damn good gamesin Spartacus and Firefly so they have a pedigree with decent tie-ins which most companies just can’t match.
I mention this to my GF last night and she was like ‘hell yes order it!!’
im just wondering how deep they plan to go with this, the show can be really harsh and deals with more than a few non pc topics, but knowing GF9 they have a plan and its going to be fantastic 🙂

Wonder if ‘Venus Van Dam’ will have a part in the game? Walton Goggins plays it so well you just have to applaud.
