Modiphius Tease What Discworld Games Are Coming Next!
November 25, 2025 by brennon
Modiphius are working towards fulfilling their Discworld RPG: Adventures in Ankh-Morpork Kickstarter at the moment but also shared some teasers of what's coming next as they expand their range of games set within the Discworld universe.
New Discworld Games // Modiphius
First up, we have a new Discworld board game that will be available to pre-order in early 2026. Discworld: Readers Digested is a licensed edition of the 2006 game by Reiner Knizia, Blue Moon City. Two to four players can dive into this reskinned version of the game with a Discworld theme alongside new expansion content.
Next up, there is also going to be a new Discworld card game coming to the tabletop later in 2026 called Kill Sam Vimes. You will take on the role of unlucky assassins who have been contracted to kill Sam Vimes. You will also have to contend with all manner of deadly traps and tricks put into place by the Duke of Ankh.
Last but not least, at the end of 2026, you'll be able to dive into a second Discworld RPG campaign. Discworld: Adventures in Lancre and Uberwald allows you to step beyond the boundaries of Ankh-Morpork and venture into the lands of Lancre, Uberwald and the Chalk.
Discworld: Adventures in Ankh-Morpork // Modiphius
Finally, off the back of the Kickstarter campaign for Discworld: Adventures in Ankh-Morpork, the core rulebook will be available during Q2 of 2026 for those who didn't back the campaign. This will be a digest-sized core rulebook, plus there will also be a Starter Set featuring unpublished adventures for Adventures in Ankh-Morpork.
If you want to get some Discworld fun right now, you can go and download the Quickstart for Adventures in Ankh-Morpork and give it a go this weekend.
Are you intrigued to see what Modiphius do with Discworld?

Still waiting for my kickstarter to turn up.
Think they have said early next year for it as I’m in the same boat.
The card game could be interesting if it really catches the humour but the rest is not my cup of tea.
Agreed
Ooooooo that sounds great
