The Kickstarter itself opted for an initial goal of  £36,042. But within the first 24 hours of it going live - it has received over $1 million worth of pledges.  At the time of writing this, the Kickstarter sits at £1,615,796 (reaching over $2 million) - and is still growing with 20 days left to go!

The video game itself is a four-player strategy game where players must manage their very own space empire. They can choose which path they take. So whether they are looking for a peaceful and calm state, an evolved society or a dystopian one - it is down to the player to decide.

Translating over to the tabletop, there is no doubt that this will be a success! As fans worldwide of the video game series have swarmed their way to Kickstarter to get in on the piece of the action.

Stellaris Infinite Legacy is available on Kickstarter for another 20 days, so there is plenty of time to get involved in the thriving community of not just tabletop gamers, but video gamers looking to try their hand at their favourite game on a new platform.

I am often seeing more video games being translated over to the tabletop. With titles on PlayStation that I adored, such and Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, and these releases are certainly making me want to hoard more games of familiarity!

What video games do you think will translate well over to the tabletop?
