A follow up to @mage ‘s question from the last thread – I still haven’t decided what to tackle for my spring clean challenge, but I’m leaning towards going back to the Raging Heroes not-Battle Sisters I got from their Toughest Girls In The Galaxy II kickstarter. I think I’ve got the equivalent of 3 line squads of Sisters, a squad of Serpahim, Repentia,  and a smattering of heroes,  so guess I’d better get them built & painted before the official re-working arrives….

Otherwise I have those two packs of Long Fangs I want to get finished off, the Space Marine Heroes Terminators to work on, and oh yeah, I was weak so picked up Blackstone Fortress in the BOW Backstagers deal.  Guess I’ll have to start on those at some point 🙂

Other stuff – had the 6th volume in Battle Angel Alita: Mars Chronicle arrive yesterday, and my word does it continue the trend for the BAA world to be simultaneously gorgeous but utterly horrific. I do like though how each volume is more or less alternating – one volume following Alita’s childhood as Yoko with the next featuring the Alita who has survived the events of Last Order. Also had the paperback of Dark Imperium: Plague War come through, with the continuing adventures of Big Bobby G. So far pretty cool. Never thought I’d enjoy reading about a chronically depressed Great Unclean One…

Oh, and if you happen to be near your Friendly Local Comic Book shop tomorrow May the 4th (be with you) pop in as it’s Free Comic Book Day. Go in, pick up  some of the free books on offer, and maybe buy up a book off the shelf, or really anything to throw them a bit of support 🙂
