I pledge to get work done on my ork Blood Bowl team. Its a great time to do so without much distraction from the housemate being away on business.
I’ve been away for a bit so “how do’s” might be in order but I’ll jump in anyway with having watched the latest season of Stranger Things recently. Outside of that it was work work work in the hinterlands without video streaming and limited internet (not such a bad thing).
The week has been well as I quit my job building explosives and now in pursuit of a new one. Besides that I’m catching up on some YouTube (notably OTT videos and some news) and have gotten a new Rx for glasses.
Summer is hot and means having a basement is great to retreat to sometimes.
Met my first girlfriend at an anime convention. Best thing of the relationship was learning more things in life. As far as making a fool of myself, I really don’t remember.
Stuff in passing since last you were here? I can say since the last time I was here I’ve managed to see more of my own country that I’d probably never voluntarily go out to find (landscape pics in transit forthcoming).
Genre change for gaming might be in order for me. I’ve played Malifaux and Bloodbowl as regular tabletop gaming. I’ve become interested in Necromunda as a parallel to Mordheim way back when. As far as RPGs I’m pretty flexible as long as the game theme is consistent. Having played a GURPS campaign that was essentially the old show Quantum Leap with little/no consistency where my character didn’t fit was pretty bad.
@unclejimmy Looks like the Pug Life chose you. Ladybaby and Baby Metal? A thread with a musical beginning I can get behind.
@oriskany You say Late Cretaceous as fossil records prove that it might’ve been earlier. Tales From the Farside proves this with numerous dinosaur cartoons. I might have a few cameos in the caveman portions so don’t worry.
@crazyredcoat I believe they’ve been up previously. I remember commenting that the album (who has albums other than edm and turntablist fans?) cover art looked like post-apoc furry barbarians fighting Necrons.
@limburger I believe that the Japanese have invented things called the waifu/husbando that count as girlfriend/boyrfriend. There was a gentleman that proved that people can even marry them *gasp.
About that Rammstein-Deutschland … I bring you the best response (possibly appreciable by the history buffs and weebs among us). I recommend following on to the “Loli vs Wehrmacht“ video for a completely accurate historical account of how the German army faced and defeated Japanese loli forces in battle.
My musical addition…. a different kind of heavy bass that I bring for today
And now a case of heresy… since that heresy train didn’t have brakes
For those bearing mental scars after that last entry I offer the ear balm of
Now to get some stuff done for a bit and I’ll come back with more responses and such
