Day 15 of the journey into 1938 A Very British Civil War and today we look at the leaders of the Royalist, King Edward VIII. Yes this we have the root cause of the civil war here, The King and “That Woman” and the King’s refusal to do the “Right Thing” and either not marry her or abdicate. Well that refusal out things in motion that England Green and Pleasant Land would be no more and war breaks out across the Kingdom.
