Are there any differences to BP Epic rules from ‘normal’ BP sized rules. Or is this simply a new scale to try with an established game. Which as someone pointed out, people have been doing for years anyway.

As for why ACW in this scale, well they don’t do an ACW starter box themselves, but sell the Perrys Battle in a box, which comes with its own Firepower rules, written I think by Alessio. So there maybe some background considerations about playing nice with companies with whom they have a good relationship they don’t want to sour. Whilst doing there own thing but not conflicting with there own product lines. They do have a Napoleonic BP starter after all already, and AWI and Rorkes Drift battle sets.
