Are Warcry and Warhammer Underworlds Seasonal Games

So are the Warcry and Warhammer Underworld games seasonal with them moving onto new model ranges throughout the release and the last ones no longer available?

Also, does this mean the out of seasons factions/minis are still viable for events?

It increases the FOMO so you go out an buy before the model you like is gone.  As far as if the older models are still viable, it depends how the meta is tweaked.  If they make newer models more powerful, then it is pay to win.  If the stats stay the same, then they are just adding flavor.  IMHO, It is too soon to tell for Warcry and I have not played underworld.

Yes Warhammer Underworld has seasons, the thrid one is coming out this year.
And it some stuff from season 1 Shadespire isn’t avalaible anymore on GW’s webshop but you find some of it still on the web, though I haven’t found the extra boards from season 1.

And I have heard they are dropping cards from torunament play, which as a non tournament player I don’t care about.

So if you want to get in Underworlds and want a specific warband from season 1 or 2 it might be wise to get them soon.

Cheers guys, yeah I wasn’t too worried about keeping up with meta and force creep just that I could still legally field miniatures I like at events if they are from the older seasons. I enjoy playing the games and generally just pick models I like so am never at the competitive end of the tables. This means I have a lot better time though 😀
