So I’m thinking about and planning a new feature for my YouTube channel. I would like to talk to other creators on YouTube and twitch about how they got into doing it. These are the questions I have so far:

    • Who are you
    • What brought you into the hobby
    • When did you start YouTube/Streaming
    • Why did you start
    • What is your motivation
    • How long does a video take to make
    • What are your favourite games/systems
    • Any memorable moments in your YouTube/Twitch carrer

Are there any other questions you think I should add?

Do you see the chats being focused on the hobby side or the youtube/twitch “business” side of what they do?

    Couple that popped into mind:

    • Who is a creator whose content do you respect? What is it about their work that you enjoy?
    • What do you think youtube adds to the hobby community and what can it bring to it in the future?

Since most creator I’d like to interview aren’t doing it full time it’s going to be more “hobby” focused I guess.

The ginger nuts look a lot like amarettini… do they taste similar?

If there’s one biscuit that says what it does on the tin, it’s Ginger Nuts. They taste of ginger. They’re as hard as a nut. Dunk ’em and they still don’t go soft. Hard, ginger-y little blighters, they are.

    Bourbons are chocolatey.

What scale is A Billion Suns?

Where do you see your channel/stream going in the next 6-12 months and beyond?

If you had your very own Blue Police Box, what would you go back and tell the noobie you?

Maybe pull random questions from “Card against humanity” and ask them for an answer?

Or google top annoying questions kids ask and work your way thru?

It depend how serious you want this to be, and how different – alot of chats can seem quite samey after a while so having a different set of non hobby related questions might be a differentiator and be more fun for them.

Similarly you could ask them what question do you get asked most – that way you are maybe acknowledging the more standard questions in a way that gets them answered but also allows you to move past them…
