I find myself in need of a whole bunch of plain bases – the standard 25 mm round type – any suggestions for reasonably priced sources ?

Warbases is my go to for mdf bases.

Depending on what you call standard … if you mean WH40k style bases I’d go to eBay. For disc style bases I prefer 2p coins (or if you have a 25mm coin where you live if not the UK). MDF I’d go to Warbases (again UK) or eBay.

I just bought some GW style bases on eBay from Hobby Heaven. Very happy with price and quality.
