Played the first test game for the first scenario in a campaign I’m writing last night…

British assault crossing of a canal under a lifting smokescreen. Didn’t go as expected and the British took an utter pasting from German MG fire… to add insult to injury, the new Croc on its first game outing promptly ended up being abandoned without a shot fired.

Total debacle but good fun and few tweaks to add… the rules for Vickers plunging fire and 2″ mortar smoke worked fine but not sure they added much so further tweaking in order…

I love your tables, @piers .  Always so purposeful in design, with an eye on scale, and not just “we got all this cool terrain, let’s toss it all on the table!”

More gorgeous stuff.  Really like the dug in figures. Are they AB?

@oriskany less is often more. Same as your tables, I try for a natural look.

@damon yes… both the AB dug in British sets and the AB dug in Germans.
